Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was recognized by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell served as anchor and investigative reporter at NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor as well as a weekday correspondent. In addition to her current role as anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and as well contributes to Dateline NBC. She has covered such events as The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys and The Golden Globe Awards as and co-hosted a variety of Pre-ShowArrivals shows for The Emmys and the Golden Globes.
