Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies that are mostly of the horror or martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. She started reviewing late in 2009 and gained some respect on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. The website was her home until 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones has had her guest star on several episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax programs, and also occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). In 2009, after reviewing films, she gained fame in the forums of Channel Awesome. Before joining the official team of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
