Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in Australia and is an actor. Cornish is most well-known for her films roles, including Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and also for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish's first Screen Actors Guild Award was due to her performance in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother. With the love and encouragement from her parents made the choice to go into acting an easy choice for the young Betty Gilpin. Fordham College became her choice to attend college because it gave her the opportunity to learn and improve the skills needed to become a professional actor. After graduation Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for TV and film roles. The actress was invited to guest star in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and followed it up with smaller roles in Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was on TV in the role of a guest actor throughout the following years. She was given her first break as she had a recurring part on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin in 34 episodes before Nurse Jackie's run ended in June of 2015. In the same year Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
