Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American pro basketball player with the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, prior to being selected by the Wings as the 5th overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale, who is 26 years old, is her brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years old. As the youngest of her siblings she was the one who was most spoilt by her parents. Ogunbowale won gold medals during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. On July 7, 2014, Ogunbowale was selected to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball.
